The thought of strategy can scare people, but it’s just another word for plan. And it’s not just about a plan for your business. You also should think of one for everything that you want to create in terms of content.
I’ll help you to think about:
- Who are you talking to, what are they like?
- What sort of stories do they want to hear from you?
- Where do they want to hear them?
That helps to create a strategy for your content, which really then helps to focus your activity. We’d look at everything I create for you back against the plan, to check everything is focused on what you want to achieve.
What will I do with it?
From that plan, we can create a content plan with an appropriate distribution plan. You can use it to check back when you’re reading content that I’ve created for you, or content your own team goes onto produce.
It becomes the guiding principle for everything, but it doesn’t mean it’s set in stone. Every strategy should be reviewed regularly. We’d take the results you’re seeing, look at how they relate to the strategy and then look at what needs a bit of an update.
We’d look at who is talking back to you, really getting stuck into your story and wanting more. We can look at what really clicks with them, and make sure we’re making the most of their engagement with your brand.
